Dr Kylie Wall
Registered Acupuncturist & Chinese Medicine Practitioner
Kylie Wall holds a Bachelor of Health Science – Acupuncture, a Diploma of Remedial Massage and Yoga teacher. She’s also the proud founder of West Coast Holistic Health.
Her love of bodywork began at a very young age when she would intuitively massage the weary shoulders of family members. It wasn’t until living in London that her journey as a health practitioner began, obtaining her first professional massage qualification. Having had the influence of a Mum interested in natural approaches to health and through her own self-inquiry Kylie too adopted a natural approach. It was whilst in London that her interest in Chinese Medicine was ignited. Not one to usually suffer colds or flus, when one particularly nasty cold hit, she traipsed down Shepherd’s Bush high street in search of something other than Boots the chemist.
Kylie has worked in multi-modality clinics where she sees first-hand the benefit of working collaboratively with other practitioners, to assist the patient returning to their best. Her approach is caring and compassionate and she uses an integrative approach.
With her holistic approach, her aim is to provide drug free treatments for an array of chronic or acute conditions, by combining techniques from her extensive toolbox of skills. Our bodies are complex, and they don’t all function the same, so no treatment will ever be the same.
“I want people to be the best, healthiest version of themselves and I get so much joy when a patient responds positively to a treatment. Life is to be lived and we only get one chance, so make it count. We regularly service our cars and our bodies should be no different. These regular, maintenance type treatments assist in keeping the body in balance and free from disharmony.”
Kylie is a current, registered member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA), the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Authority (AHPRA) and Association of Massage Therapists (AMT). She has also completed an internship at Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine).
She is registered with health funds for rebates for Acupuncture and Massage.
